Philosophy

At the heart of every, brand, organization, or even individual, is a story. Story is where filmmaking, marketing, and my passion collide. After 8 years in Hollywood working on the largest feature films and the smallest branded content, I’ve realized the production process is broken. Brands hire agencies to be creative. Agencies hire production companies to execute the creative. Production companies hire directors to creatively lead the production. A giant game of telephone, where creative visions clash, artists are left unsatisfied, and the most important thing (your message) becomes diluted. Why can’t the creatives aiding brand growth, also have an understanding of film production and targeting key demographics? This is where I come in.

Process

Communicating goal-oriented narratives is the name of the game. Before selling a product or narrative to an audience I fully immerse myself in the cause. What makes this successful? Who are the hearts and minds responsible? Then I investigate audience personas across all demographics. Not only do I ask who are the people we know will care about this, but who SHOULD care? So often great messages are wasted by casting too wide of a net. By understanding both how to articulate a story and how it is received, I am able to optimize a brand’s message, translating it to the optimal audience and inciting a call to action. As a freelance creator, I am able to partner with many skilled professionals, work across a variety of mediums, and most importantly keep costs down while streamlining the creative process.

Team

Keep it in the family! This is my motto when hiring for a production. Not my biological family, of course, but the people who have been by my side for 10 years and responsible for some of the most beautiful scenes captured through a lens. These projects would be nothing without our creative collaboration. Our team’s chemistry makes for an incredibly efficient shoot, allowing us to squeeze more out of each day and never miss a raw moment. We are able to leverage an extended network of poetic copyrighters, design researchers, data scientists, graphic designers, and more, to deliver the most targeted message backed by the highest production value. Without the need for a bloated overhead.
